Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We are very pleased to announce that the Doha Academy will be joining the Multinational School (MNS) group from the 2018/2019 Academic Year, with Intuitive Education Consultants as our long-term partners. Over the past few months we have considered different partnership options so that we can strengthen the education service we offer you and your families. After careful consideration, we chose the MNS group as partners due to their alignment and support for our vision.
We are excited to announce that the school will undergo a renaming and branding to become the Multinational School Dhahran (MNS Dhahran) from the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Additionally, it will become a part of the MNS group due to our new partnership. You will see that we will be progressively marketing the school as MNS Dhahran.
The Multinational School, Riyadh (MNS-R) has operated since 1998, growing to a student roll of 1,600. MNS-R has a philosophy of ‘no child left behind’, with a vision of working with parents to enable all children to achieve their ambitions and reach their full potential. MNS-R has a reputation for being an outstanding inclusive international private school in Saudi Arabia. Students from the school have received top results in Cambridge IGCSE and A level exams and have won top in the area and world prizes. Many students have gained entry into some of the best universities in the world including Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge and University College London. Julia Jefferson and Grant Jefferson are the founders of this school and will join Nadia Aldossary on the board for the Multinational School Dhahran. Intuitive Education Consultants (IEC) are a leading consultancy that have specialized in establishing and managing successful international schools within the Middle East over the last 20 years (see www.intuitiveeducation.com ). One of the school groups that they have provided support services to is MNS. Intuitive Education Consultants will be providing school management services to MNS-Dhahran from 1st July 2018.
The new partnership with the MNS group and Intuitive Education Consultants will bring to you and your children the following benefits:
- MNS-R and IEC’s 20 years of experience in outstanding international private schooling in Saudi Arabia and the region.
- Continual access to experienced academic, management consultants for exceptional teaching, leadership, and ICT for children and parents.
- Access IEC’s strategic partners’ resources for exceptional teaching, learning, and school leadership.
- Strengthened school governance including the existing owner and the new partners.
As part of the development of MNS Dhahran as an inclusive school, we are planning to develop and introduce a strong Learning Support program for children that have additional needs over and above the mainstream programs. We will also implement programs for our gifted and talented students and strengthen the extra-curricular program. These programs will capitalize on the experience of MNS-R in this area over the last 20 years. Also, there is a plan to gain accreditation from internationally recognized accreditation authorities as part of our quality assurance process.
We see that parents are our most important partners in a school. We know how important your children and their education are to you and we value your support.
