At MNS-D, we celebrated the 91st annual Saudi National Day, honoring the birth of the modern Saudi Nation. This year’s theme, “It’s Our Home,” resonates with all of us who feel that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become our home. We included the color green in every decoration as it represents the color of the country’s flag and reflects its symbolism in Islam. Learners came to the school wearing Saudi traditional clothes and brought Saudi traditional items. We organized many activities to raise awareness about Saudi culture and traditions, the Saudi flag and anthem, Saudi traditional food, the national tree, historic sites, and landmarks.
