Hi, my name is Michelle and I will be joining the MNS – Dhahran team in August of this year.
I have been working in primary schools in Scotland and the Middle East for almost two decades. I have taught in every year group in the primary and I have worked as a subject leader, as a Year Group and Phase Leader and as a Senior Leader.
In my classroom, it is important to me that children feel special and that I identify and nurture their talents. I am passionate about building secure foundations, providing exciting and memorable moments in the classroom whilst ensuring that children make progress and consistently reach their levels of academic attainment. I believe that learning should be challenging but fun and enjoyable. I want children in my care to develop and mature as independent and cooperative learners, to experience a breadth of learning experiences that are relevant and begin to prepare them for the learning needs of the 21st century.
Out-with my classroom, I try to keep fit and eat healthy. I enjoy yoga, swimming and fun exercise classes. I enjoy watching documentaries especially history or nature, and I have been known to enjoy a reality TV show or two, now and then!
