Monthly Letter

Dear Parents

I hope you are keeping well. It is hard to believe that we have already been back at school for nearly 1 month. Firstly,I wish to congratulate our wonderful children for adapting to the routines and staying focused in these challenging circumstances. Furthermore, It’s incredible to see their swift adaptation to our virtual learning program, making the year’s start very successful. As a result, they must be commended for the resilience they have shown these past few weeks.

I’m grateful for the incredible parental support; your efforts are sincerely appreciated. I view you as partners in your child’s learning journey and your input is making a significant impact and difference.

As we embark on this long weekend celebrations, I would like to wish you a wonderful and happy 90th Saudi National Day. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made great advances over these 90 years. We wish to celebrate these accomplishments and extend our appreciation to the leadership of this great nation we are fortunate to be part of; His Highness, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman. A reminder to practice all the safety protocols so that our children remain safe and are ready to return to school next week for their in-school sessions. Please kindly be extra vigilant during large group gatherings and continue to practice social distancing, wearing masks and sanatising. We do not want to let our guard down as we have all been doing so well.

We will increase the in-school sessions from this coming week to just under 3 hours per session to maximize the learning for the benefit of our students. The ministry has directed a maximum of 8 students per session. Your child’s class teacher will email you with more information about the groups and timings of the in-school sessions. Please ensure that your child wears a mask; this is non-negotiable. We will not allow any child or parent onto the school premises without a mask, as it is for everyone’s protection. Kindly cooperate with Mr. Malik, our school security officer. Parents waiting for their child during the in-school sessions, please remain in the reception area and follow the signs for social distancing to limit movement within the school during these sessions.

Your feedback is crucial, helping us identify strengths and areas for improvement. Keep communicating, together we will be successful in making our school even greater.

Kind regards,

Michelle Stevens
